How we write our health content.
Our guides are written for women who are tired of vague, hedging answers. Here is how we research them, who reviews them, and what we will never do.
Who writes our guides
Everything in our Learn library is written in-house by the Amorae care team — the same people who answer emails at care@amorae.co.uk. We write in plain British English, and we try to answer the question in the first paragraph rather than making you scroll.
Where our information comes from
For clinical background — what endometriosis is, how dysmenorrhoea works, which treatments are offered in the UK — we follow NHS guidance and published peer-reviewed research. Where the evidence is thin or still emerging, particularly around CBD, we say so plainly rather than dressing it up.
How often we review pages
Every guide carries the date it was last reviewed at the top of the page. We revisit the library at least twice a year, and sooner whenever guidance changes, our formulation changes, or a reader tells us something reads as unclear or unhelpful.
What we will never do
- Claim that Amorae Intimate treats, cures or prevents any medical condition.
- Invent testimonials, statistics, ratings or clinical results.
- Name or criticise other brands to make our own product look better.
- Suggest you stop or change prescribed treatment without speaking to your clinician.
